Our Story

How it all started...

Bernal Road Baptist Church was built in 1972.  In 2003 it was renamed "Bernal Church " which it carries to this day. Over the years Bernal has been the home of a multitude of people in need of a Savior.  This legacy continues today as we strive to grow in our knowledge of God and our compassion for others. Pastor Jeff O'Harra recently assumed the role of lead pastor and brings with him a fresh vision and passion for healing hearts and minds in partnership with the Lord and His desire for the Bernal Church community.

Expanding the Mission...

Believing we were called to serve the neighborhood, we have been active in getting to know and serving our local schools and community leaders. Our desire is to be a church known
for loving others extravagantly. 

Where we are headed...

Luke 10 talks about being sent on mission to bring peace to our neighborhood and communities.  We are constantly and prayerfully seeking out those opportunities to bring Christ's peace.
